It is known for offering products that cater to the needs of oily and rutty skin and compliments several shades. Halsey was inspired by and made it for the diverse and artistic community.
Peace Out Skincare
Enrico Frezza struggled immensely with acne and hyperpigmentation as a teenager. This is what initially sparked his interest in creating a skincare brand that produced great results. The brand’s mission is to give consumers that, “Feel-good, live-life unfiltered skin. In honor of Pride Month, Peace Out Skincare launched a new acne patch where $5 from each one sold on its website will be donated to The Trevor Project, with an overall minimum contribution of $25,000.

Malin + Goetz is a queer owned beauty brand that was started in 2004 by Co-owners, Matthew Malin and Andrew Goetz. The goal of the two was to make skincare simple for everyone. Malin and Goetz initially only offered 6 essential products which included cleanser, moisturizer and hair care products. But as of today, the company has expanded their brand to offer products for each part of the body in addition to candles. However, their greatest concerns have always been skincare.
Common Heir was founded in 2020 by Co-owners Angela Ubias and Cary Lin. Both shared a common love for beauty, and decided to become innovators in the industry by creating a skincare line that was high performing yet plastic free. The two women claimed to have incorporated the beauty secrets from the women in their life as a way to continue their legacy. According to Herman, “As a brand, Boy Smells is on a journey to liberate gender and identity through a new world of personal products we define as ‘genderful.” The term is defined as the evolving thinking around gender, which excludes the ideas of binary and unisex codes. Boy Smells offers candles, fragrances, and intimate wears that are wrapped in pink packaging.

Patrick Ta Beauty was founded by gay makeup artist, Patrick Ta. Though Ta started out as a Make-Up artist, he now is an esteemed entrepreneur that offers duo cream, complexion powder palettes, lip glosses, and blushes. His aim is to make women feel as comfortable and loved as they made him when he was a child.
Phillip B. is a botanical based Hair Care line that was founded in 1991 by Hollywood Hair Care Specialist, Phillip B. The line prides itself for having a focus on scalp-friendly natural ingredients incorporated into all the shampoos, conditioners, and styling products they have available.
